Terms of Service

TeachMe is operated by Globe Regent Tech Solutions LTD, a company registered in Israel.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using TeachMe you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or have the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, to use TeachMe.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Information you provide must be accurate.
4. Our role
TeachMe is a marketplace that connects students with independent teachers. We are not a party to the agreement between a student and a teacher and do not employ teachers or guarantee lesson outcomes.
5. Bookings and payments
Lesson requests become confirmed when the teacher accepts them. Prices are set by teachers. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5a. Platform fee
TeachMe charges teachers a platform fee of 5% of the price of every lesson booked through the platform. The fee is deducted from the teacher's side: students pay the listed lesson price and the teacher receives 95% of it. Teachers must accept this fee before they can confirm lessons, and by confirming a lesson the teacher agrees to the fee for that lesson.
6. Acceptable use
You must not harass others, share unlawful or harmful content, impersonate anyone, record lessons without consent, or try to take payments or contact off-platform to avoid our rules.
7. Content
You keep ownership of content you upload (such as your photo and bio) and grant TeachMe a licence to display it to operate the service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users at risk. You may close your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided 'as is'. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeachMe is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform.
9a. Governing law
These Terms are an agreement between you and Globe Regent Tech Solutions LTD, a company registered in Israel. They are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you.
